Windows Vista Wallpaper
I made some pictures this morning on my front yard which look a lot like the grass wallpaper in Windows Vista (Longhorn). They look nice as wallpaper in Windows Vista Beta 1.
Update (13/2/2006): I updated the pictures (removed the Windows Vista logo based on requests) and added extra large 8MP versions (for Bill Hill’s monitor 
).

Wow I live these photos. I am using the Vista theme using StyleXP a windows enhancement but I think I should try using the Beta version. How can I try it?

Hi Christina, at this moment you can’t get the Vista beta unless you are in the technical beta program. There will be a public beta in a few months though, then you can try it. It should also be more stable by then and have more driver support so you wont get too many issues while using it.

lol and if you want backgrounds for vista ,
use your brains and go to google images, and type ‘vista wallpaper’ or ‘vista backgrounds’ and you’ll get loads of ‘em

Hi, guys! I was looking around for electronics stuff and i saw computers that said “vista capable”. That got me thinking to whether or not my comp is “vista capable”. Can u guys tell me if my HP m7480n comp with an ATI X850xt platinum edition graphics card will run vista. Thank you for any tips.

I think you should be able to run Vista quite well.
All you need is 1GB RAM at least and a 3D capable DirectX 8 or 9 or 10 videocard.
that ATI card should be more than enough.
