Flight Simulator X

Since Bill Gates demonstrated Flight Simulator X at CES, screenshots have started to appear on the Internet. It’s looking very nice so far. The scenery seems to have improved a lot, there seem to be cars driving on the roads and birds flying in the sky. The Boeing 747 doesn’t look so good though, hope they are still working on it. I see that they’ve added some other weird aircrafts as well. I’ve asked a couple of times that they add a Grumman Ag-Cat to the game and some fields so we can go crop dusting, but sadly without any results. The first time I asked was about 4-5 years ago. Maybe they will listen someday soon. Flight Simulator 4 did have crop dusting in it, but I think that was the only version with that feature. It never came back in later versions. :(

This is for the FS Team at MS: If you guys decide to add it someday, here are some reference pictures.

Update: We now have a very realistic Ag-Cat model for Flight Simulator!!

    Hey Karel,

I wouldnt worry so much about standard aircraft. You can download pretty much any aircraft from the net at places like avsim.com

Hi Corona, I know but believe it or not, the Ag-Cat has never been available. I found one last week but it was far from finished. I just want it done professionally, and the FS team could do it.

Hi Friends, I very glad that someone is inquiring about the Ag Cat. It would be an awesome addition to the fleet. I’m hoping for a FS team to do it professionally and do develop some fields to spray or dust. I have emailed Abacus to develop a package of Ag aircraft and fields to spray, this is wishful thinking. Like you, I do wish that the Ag cat be develop professionally in various models and even the Gene Soucy’s aerobatic ag cat!!! Let’s keep praying for a miracle to happen!!!
